Enhanced Authentication Upgrade Coming 4/17/2014

On 04/17/2014, we will upgrade Enhanced Authentication. Beginning on 04/17/2014, the image that currently appears above the Security Code will no longer be displayed. After you log on, you will be prompted to re-enroll in Enchanced Authentication by selecting new security questions and a Security Phrase. After enrollment, when you logon, this phrase will display in the same place as the previous image. For additional details about the change, Acrobat File CLICK HERE.

Overdraft Privilege (Courtesy Pay) permits you to overdraw your checking account up to $500 (including fees). You will be assessed a $35 fee per item that clears your account. Should you inadvertently overdraw your account, we have the discretion to cover your overdrafts up to $500.00 after first subtracting the amount of the overdraft fee(s). When your items are paid, this service will help save you the embarrassment and inconvenience of a returned item as well as the fee normally charged to you by merchants for items returned to them. The Discretionary Overdraft Privilege is available for checks and ACH/EFT transactions. You can get access to the funds on your debit card by Opting In. Click Here for form. Just sign and return to Credit Union.

Important Information for Debit Card Holders

If you use your debit card at a gas pump, regularly an amount will be blocked -- often $75 or $100 -- on your card. That amount doesn't "un-block" as you drive away. Instead, the hold remains up to 72 hours, until the station does a "batch" transaction that lets the credit union know the actual amount.

Each big oil company has a different policy. The reasoning behind this policy is that oil companies don't know how much gas you're about to pump and so they earmark a certain amount of your money. While the length of the hold is up to the credit union, the amount of the hold is up to your gasoline retailer.
